Persecuter play aggressive thrash metal with deep roots in the Teutonic school — Destruction, Kreator, Sodom, and Exumer are all audible touchstones — alongside doses of American thrash brutality from the Slayer and Exodus end of the spectrum. The band released "Perfect Life" in 2013 and the more developed "The Hatred Domains" in 2017, both driven by Pitter's dual role on guitar and vocals and lyrics that dissect anti-religious and human-nature themes.
