Technical death metal band from Aracaju, Sergipe, named after Irineu Evangelista de Souza, the Baron of Mauá, the 19th-century industrialist who tried to modernize Brazil against government resistance. The band blends precision death metal with progressive and harmonic sensibilities, drawing influences from across the extreme spectrum from Napalm Death to Radiohead, and released the EP Conscience as an early showcase of their refined, worked-out approach. They have shared stages with established Brazilian acts including Torture Squad.
