Massacration
Massacration began as a sketch on Brazilian MTV comedy show Hermes & Renato — a parody of heavy metal excess and broken-English posturing — but quickly became a genuine phenomenon in its own right. Their debut album Gates of Metal Fried Chicken of Death (2005), produced by Ratos de Porão frontman João Gordo under the pseudonym "Rick Rubinho" and featuring Sérgio Mallandro, sold over 40,000 copies; a third album, Metal Is My Life, arrived in 2024 after a 15-year gap.
