Álef Hylliel

Álef Hylliel is a prolific post-black metal and blackgaze project from Manaus, Brazil, blending tremolo-driven black metal with shoegaze atmospherics, ambient textures, and post-rock melody. Active since 2010, the project has built an extensive catalog of over a dozen albums on Bandcamp, including releases such as "失われた音" (Ushinawareta Oto), "Laniakea", and "Entre Amigos Depressivos", drawing on themes of depression, isolation, and introspection. The multilingual album titling — mixing Portuguese, English, and Japanese — reflects the project's broad atmospheric and emotional range within the DSBM-adjacent blackgaze space.
