L.F. Angels

L.F. While Brazilian metal abroad is most associated with the thrash-and-death lineages of Sepultura, Krisiun, and Korzus, the country has run a parallel and equally durable line of straight-up heavy metal and hard rock — Viper, Angra, Shaman, Tuatha de Danann, Hangar, Dr. Sin, and the late-1980s Heavy Harmonies-listed acts that drew on NWOBHM, Scorpions-style melodic hard rock, and the AOR end of the Sunset Strip dialect rather than on extreme metal's stranger edges. L.F.
