Górgona
Górgona is a heavy metal band from Cascavel, Paraná, Brazil, formed in 2018 and drawing heavily from the New Wave of British Heavy Metal tradition, with declared influences including Witchfinder General, Angel Witch, and Diamond Head alongside 1970s acts like Uriah Heep and Deep Purple. The band — comprising vocalist and guitarist Fernando Guedes, bassist Ricardo B. Lima, guitarist Bruno Máximo, and drummer Fernando Silva — made their live debut on December 19, 2021, which was captured as the nine-track soundboard recording released as the live EP 'The Plague Remnants' (2022).
