Dissident
Dissident is a thrash metal band from Valparaíso, Chile, with roots tracing back to 1998 when founders Javier Pinilla and Yan Herrera Reese began playing under successive names before consolidating as Dissident around 2006. The band plays old-school, Bay Area-influenced thrash metal and has released the full-length "Unleash the Violence... In Thrash We Trust" (2015, Iron Blood and Death Corporation) and "Tus Balas Volverán" (2020).
