Dagas is a traditional heavy metal band from San Fernando, Buenos Aires, with roots stretching back to 1994. Drawing influence from Mercyful Fate, King Diamond, and Black Sabbath, the band gained early recognition by opening for Mercyful Fate in Argentina in 1999, and has continued operating as an independent act focused on dark, occult-themed heavy metal.
