Critical Mass
Critical Mass is a thrash metal band from São Paulo, Brazil, originally formed in 1989 under the name Sarcastik before adopting their current name, drawing influence from acts like Metallica, Testament, and Nuclear Assault. After nearly three decades of dormancy during which their early material remained unreleased, the band returned to resurrect compositions written between 1990 and 1994. In 2025 they released their debut EP "The Feast" on streaming platforms and in a limited CD edition, marking their long-awaited comeback to the São Paulo underground scene.
