Chronos is a heavy/thrash metal band from Santiago with roots stretching back to 1983, when founders Claudio Martínez and José Ihnen formed the group that would release the influential "Medieval Tales" demo (1986) and the album "A Dónde Vas" (1989) before disbanding. The band reunited and resumed activity in 2007, releasing the self-titled full-length "ChronoS" in 2009; drummer Eduardo "Topo" Topelberg, a member across multiple eras, also played in fellow Santiago institution Pentagram Chile.
