Apofis is a black metal band from Quito, Ecuador, formed in 2021. Drawing on themes of darkness, rituals, mysticism, and misanthropy, the band has self-released a string of EPs including Rituals in the Dark, Reborn in the Black Sky, and The Mountain Mist, as well as contributing to a 2023 split release. They remain an active independent act in Ecuador's underground black metal scene.
