Animus Necandi is a thrash metal band from Salvador, Bahia, Brazil, drawing from the aggressive, fast-picking tradition of Brazilian thrash metal. Originally active from 2004 with a 2005 demo titled "Bloody World," the band later resumed activity, representing the thrash underground of Brazil's northeastern capital.
