AlterGeist is a melodic power metal band from Rio de Janeiro formed in 2019, featuring vocalist and keyboardist Marcello Folds alongside guitarist Marlon Heiliger, bassist Felipe Oni, and drummer Robson Lima. Their 2021 EP "The Hourglass" showcases soaring vocals and harmonic guitar work rooted in the European power metal tradition.
