Alkahest
Alkahest was an atmospheric black metal project from Minas Gerais, Brazil, active from 2011 until their split-up. Operating in the same rich Minas Gerais underground that produced seminal Brazilian extreme metal acts, the project explored atmospheric and ambient-influenced black metal with themes rooted in occultism, ritual, and the spiritual — a direction consistent with the atmospheric black metal current emerging across Brazil in the early 2010s. The band remained unsigned throughout their existence.
