Agaurez
Agaurez is a black metal band from Belo Horizonte, Brazil, originally formed in 1998 and reconstituted in 2013 after a lengthy hiatus. Their debut "Un-Virtue-Vitae" (2002) on Demise Records represented traditional keyboard-driven black metal, but their second album "The Five Sigils" — released on the prestigious Brazilian label Cogumelo Records — marked a heavier evolution incorporating death and thrash metal elements. Thematically rooted in rational anti-Christian ideology, Nietzsche, and occultism, the band is one of Belo Horizonte's more enduring extreme metal acts.
