Abysmal Forest is a black metal band from Lavras, Minas Gerais, Brazil, with a history stretching back to 1995. The band released the demo 'Para sempre... reinarás' in 2002 and the CD/DVD 'Tributo aos Irmãos' in 2008, operating as an independent underground act within the Brazilian black metal tradition — not to be confused with the separate Abysmal Forest from Teresina.
